THE ITALIAN JOB - ENDURANCE SERIES

In order to make it onto the grid for the upcoming round, all teams & drivers must participate in Qualification.

This is done by jumping on our Qualification server during the Qualification phase and setting your best lap possible.

RULES & INFORMATION:

• – Make sure you are registered to the series, on our Discord server and that your name is set correctly in-game to your registered OOR driver name before setting laps.
• – All drivers registered to compete in the upcoming event, MUST participate in Qualification.
• – Treat the Qualification servers just like a normal live Qualifying session. All track rules must be obeyed. If you deliberately cause incidents, you will be DSQ from event.
• – When setting laps, please endeavour to sit in the Qualification voice lobby on Discord to make sure you are listening out for people calling out hot laps.
• – You have a maximum of 35 Laps to set your best valid time.
• – All laps (including invalid laps and laps you return to the pits) count towards your total. Use them wisely.
• – If you have any driver line-up changes for any of your teams/cars, they must be submitted prior to the commencement of your Qualification laps by utilising the submit team changes channel on Discord.
• – Conditions will be set and non-variable – 28c Track Temp & 12:00 Circuit Time.
• – No racing line or stability control allowed.
• – Only the car you have registered to the event with should be used or your laps will not count.
• – You may leave the session at anytime, your current laps will be counted.
• – The Top 10 teams in Qualification will go through to the Shakedown on the Friday before the event. This is mandatory.
• – If you are registered to compete and you do not set any laps, you will get the default lap time.
• – Your time must fall within the cut-off time to be considered to participate in the upcoming event, even if your team qualifies.
  
  

DEFAULT & CUT-OFF TIMES:

If you fail to complete a lap and you are registered to compete in the series, you will receive the default time. The default time is 103% of the fastest lap set in Qualifying. You also need to make sure your fastest time falls within our cut-off time or you will not be able to compete, even if your team qualifies. Eg.
How this time is determined is by rounding to the nearest second, eg. 1:40.123 will be rounded to 1:40.000 which is 100 seconds.
We then add 3% to this time, which would be 3 seconds. So the default time would equal 1:43.000.
For the cut-off time, the multiplier (provisionally) is 5% of the best time set. Would be equal 1:45.000

Default Time: 3% of Fastest Qualification Lap (If lap is 2:00:200 it would be 2:03.600).

Cut-Off Time: 5% of Fastest Qualification Lap (If lap is 2:00:200 it would be 2:06.200).

Both requirements above are subject to change prior to Qualification.
